Hi, my name is Alessandra
I am the face behind FEMtastic. I am almost 40, happily married and I have lived in Zurich for over 10 years. As an active, curious and adventurous person, I love travelling to faraway countries and discovering other cultures. Another of my passions is dancing, which has accompanied me through life since my childhood and for me represents joie de vivre and freedom. However, I also appreciate the quieter times, which I spend doing yoga or reading and enjoying deep conversations and tasty food with my loved ones.
My interest in people, their motives and actions was awakened when I was young. I always found it fascinating to understand why people are the way they are, what drives them and what holds them back. It was therefore an obvious choice for me to enter the field of HR. As an empathic, intuitive person with a good understanding of human nature, it quickly became clear that I enjoy the advisory side of HR the most and that I find it particularly fulfilling to promote, coach and support people during their personal development. Now I would like to bring my HR experience and my enthusiasm for coaching into my self-employed work at FEMtastic and enable women* to grow beyond their limits and fulfil their professional and personal dreams.
My mindset and values
I describe myself as a person with an optimistic attitude and the confidence that every challenging situation has positive aspects and potential opportunities. I believe in the good in people and in their ability and willingness to change and develop. I am therefore convinced that people are fundamentally motivated and can grow beyond themselves, provided they are given the space and the right setting to do so.
With FEMtastic, I want to precisely create this setting. At FEMtastic, the focus is on the individual - every woman* is seen as unique, competent and full of potential. I approach my clients with openness, curiosity and a great deal of empathy. I rely equally on my female intuition and my expertise to create a framework in which development can take place at one's own pace. FEMtastic stands for truth to oneself, sustainability, honesty, transparency, trust, and, of course, female strength and empowerment.
My coaching approach
My coaching approach is holistic, empowering and practice-oriented. The focus is on effectively supporting and empowering my clients on their individual life and career paths. I combine sound HR expertise, entrepreneurial thinking and proven coaching methods to promote personal development in a targeted and sustainable way. I support my coachees in developing their potential and utilizing their talents in a value-adding way through tailored coaching and training offers. I create a space for clarity, reflection and courageous decisions. This creates a trusting collaboration at eye level that enables real change and sustainable growth.
My professional background
I mainly gained my professional experience in HR at a major Swiss bank. Over the past 13 years, I have been able to take on a wide variety of roles within HR, giving me the opportunity to develop from Assistant to HR Business Partner, taking on more responsibility and acquiring valuable key skills. I was able to gain a large part of my expertise in the area of recruitment and took the opportunity to acquire my first management experience during this time. In my latest two roles as Recruitment Team Leader and HR Business Partner, I was able to obtain core skills in the areas of coaching, leadership, counseling, interviewing, conflict and change management as well as in the facilitation of trainings and workshops.
In addition to my work at FEMtastic, I currently work in a Swiss SME as a part-time Job Coach for highly-qualified people, who seek new job opportunities.
